Nutrition and Support Services provide valuable assistance for those struggling to remain living independently in their homes. While the home delivered meal program is the most recognizable program offered at Meals on Wheels, our services include an entire menu of serivce options for seniors to enhance the quality of life, improve health and well-being, and enable independent living.
Meals on Wheels services are geared towards Fairfield County residents age sixty and older who may be struggling to remain independent, who may be experiencing isolation and hunger, or who may be providing care for a loved one in need.
The enrollment process begins with an in-home assessment conducted by a caring, trained Meals on Wheels staff member. During the in-home assessment, you will learn about the various services offered. Seniors and their caregivers are able to choose which services best suit their needs.
